Do Re Mi
Do Re Mi
I have been humming this tune from one of my all time favourite classics lately... and it is this sentence that has inspired me to firstly, START sharing my adventure and secondly begin at the very beginning. I begin The Future Mrs Orpen by sharing a bit of my world with you: "May - Photo - A - Day".
I have started this 2 days late - a bit of a catch up:
May - Photo - A - Day : 1 "I BOUGHT THIS"
Yup, I bought this - a glass of Merlot with our spur of the moment dinner after meeting with our wedding photographers the lovely: Lad & Lass at Vovo Telo, Parkhurst.. Our: Mine, Derryn and my Fiancé Terence aka Te... More about us soon.
May - Photo - A - Day : 2 "MORNING RITUAL"
My mornings begin at 5:30am after I have gone through at least two snooze sessions. I am fortunate to have to begin work at 7am and end at 3:15pm that allows me to miss the insane Jozi rush hour traffic. I try to be as quiet as possible when I get up in the morning as Te works crazy hours and often only gets home at 2am. Its is this morning ritual that I cannot do without... My hair session. Yup, All four brushes are used, sometimes simultaneously. I have resorted to taking the well organised hair-do gear out of the bedroom and now has a comfy home in our lounge - this way I get to keep my ritual and a happy, smiling, handsome fiancé.
May - Photo - A - Day : 3 "THIS IS REALLY GOOD"
I love cake... a bride-to-be in 4 moths and 12 days really shouldn't have a love for Petit Fours... but I do! We had these delicious coral petit fours at Te's parents 35th wedding anniversary, along with strawberry milkshakes and meringue nests to finish off a rather special occasion - this was really, REALLY good.
